About FAPA

At the Foster and Adoptive Parent Association (FAPA), we believe no parent should walk this journey alone. We are a community of like-minded moms and dads who understand the joys and challenges of fostering and adoption.

FAPA is more than a group. It’s a listening ear when you need to talk, a shoulder to lean on when life feels heavy, and a network of resources to help you thrive. Each month, members gather for meetings filled with encouragement, updates, and opportunities to connect. We also provide direct access to a DSS liaison, ensuring parents stay informed with the latest updates, guidance, and support.

Beyond meetings, FAPA is committed to enriching family life. We host fun gatherings and events where children can play, laugh, and build friendships, while parents recharge and share experiences. Members also gain access to a steady supply of practical resources designed to meet both everyday and long-term needs.

Most importantly, your participation opens the door to scholarship funds, giving families financial support for children’s educational and enrichment opportunities.
